Fun Start.
Manga – Jimbei does seem to be the Strongest Good Guy Fishman (or just the Strongest not on Drugs) so I think he will stay on Fishman Island to Protect it.
In Similar Fashion to Vivi Staying for the Sake of her Home.
Would Jimbei Care less about his home then she did (Though he Isn’t royalty like her and there are others that Are Royalty so it could go either way).
I was just wondering, have you guys discussed the Post Time Skip Super Nova designs? I saw them in Jump a few issues back and just guessed I missed your guys’ discussion about them.
Great episode you guys love the title hahaha. The piece by piece on the newest volume in japan was so cool. The double manga recap was amazing too. I can’t wait for next weeks 3 anime recap that’s gonna be so much fun ^_^.
Blah… Can’t get the pictures to show, only audio.
WMP and MPC-HC failed and MPC-HC never fail…
Finally got the m4a file working correctly. Windows Media Player and VLC would play the audio but not the images and had no chapter select. Winamp would not play the file at all (showed 0:00 for length). But Quicktime plays it perfectly in every way. Can even just press left or right arrows to jump straight to the pictures, so I may redownload some of the older podcasts now.
I’m running Windows 7.
Chris Sabat is such a funny guy!
AAC feed is something that always escaped me, and I know I’m missing something because you keep showing pictures that you can only see using it! How do you get it? I use iTunes, how do I use it? Oh, so apparently I CAN’T see the pictures using iTunes? So much for following your advise and subscribing to you guys! >:(
Wait what? Album art? How do I get that? Maybe I need to listen to this section again…
Volume 62
I love the cover, Jinbe looks awesome!
Megalodon… An ancient giant shark… Sounds so awesome.
Each of the Admirals have their own brand of Justice? Well, we know where Aokiji and Akainu stand… But what about Kizaru? “Gray-area Justice”? …Interesting…
I wasn’t as interested in seeing the Supernovas young as I was seeing the Warlords young. Although it was pretty interesting see what Urouge, X. Drake, Law, and Kid young. Apoo had funky hair as a kid.
Funny stuff from SBS! XD
Manga Recap: Chapter 644…
South Birds… Wow… Just wow…
When I first read this chapter, I was all like “Oh God, it finally happened, a Hody Jones flashback!” Still, I also said how much more scary Hody is this way, because he’s basically fighting for no real goal. He’s a terrorist, and only lives to spite humans. Therefore, I can only say that he has to die. If he’s allowed to live, then he’ll only cause more problems in the future.
I totally did not notice Shirley the first time around.
Now the Klu Klux Klan allusions come full circle, where they wear masks and burn down houses (underwater?).
Re-reading this… I have to say, seeing them cheer and celebrate, and calling Otohime EVIL for forgiving humans… Oh my God, dude… D:
I like that introspective look at the Fishmen District, and hopefully from now on, they won’t ignore the such lawless areas.
It’s too bad Greg wasn’t here to help with the Japanese phrase, but the whole “return to zero” thing is a great way to say we should just move on and forget past tragedies and try even harder for peace… I think.
I loved seeing the Straw Hat Pirates (and Jinbe) on that one page. It was also cool to see Luffy’s new technique “Red Hawk”! Badass!
Chapter 645 recap…
Amazon was a bitch, it was because of her that the whole mess in Skypiea happened! Interesting statue, though.
I kind of wished Hody was finished off then… But then when I saw Hody finished on in this chapter, I was surprised… I thought the fight was going to last longer… But at least he’s down for the count for now.
Wait wait wait, I did NOT notice the drugs there the first time! It’s weird… I think it makes more sense to have him try and shove more into his mouth, vomitting up whole pills doesn’t make as much sense…
I thought it was kind of pointless to have more citizens talking to each other… Although seeing Whitebeard once more is awesome! Also, Blackbeard with those claw weapons… Could those be the weapons that scarred Shanks?!
The vision looks more like things collapsing around Luffy… Wait, the “fall” of Fishman Island? Perhaps that was more literal than we believed?
It’s a shame that Luffy couldn’t save Noah, but he’s got no other choice…
It’s a good thing not all the New Fishman Pirates aren’t as crazy as the officers. Hopefully, this will finally teach the fishmen/merfolk that this is not the best way to go about their relationship.
lol, Brook, Franky, and Chopper aren’t exactly human.
Brook is the perfect opponent for Zeo, especially with Zeo Hell-bent on saying “death is revenge” when he doesn’t know a thing about death, not like Brook. Brook has gotten so badass now! I love it!
So the Straw Hat Pirates get ready to finish off their opponents… The next chapter will be awesome.
Seeing Monster Chopper be under control was the great at the end… Thank goodness, even though I predicted it would happen.
Piece Together…
Thanks for answering my question again. In retrospect, it makes more sense to have people believe that Hody’s beaten to prompt Zeo’s reaction… We probably haven’t seen the last of Hody, though.
Oh, you’re still using Bon Voyage? …Okay. Look forward to when you start using Kokoro no Chizu!
