I felt an earthquake… But there were painters knocking on my house, so I just assumed the shaking was due to them.
My Nana (my mom’s mother) lives right in the path of the hurricane and yet she refuses to move. I’m a little worried…
Manga recap…
I love Surume… The kraken reall IS kind of cute, with that silly little grin! XD
Wait, Oda wanted to make a mecha anime/manga? When did he say that? Well, whatever, he now has a giant robot, so good for him.
I did not notice how the Straw Hat Jolly Roger looked like the self-destruct button back in Vegapunk’s lab… Nice touch.
Seriously, Zach? You did NOT know about Wapometal, Or what happened to Wapol? It figures…
Also notice, EVERYONE has stars in their eyes… Except Nami. And Robin They don’t look impressed at all. :/
The shoulder cannon’s is kind of a call back fo Franky’s fight with Fukorou, but even I can’t tell what he’s shooting here.
That panel also confused me… Did Franky fall over because of the weight, or did he fall over as an attack? I guess it’ll make more sense in the anime.
Jason’s good to have on board, for the Nami and Usopp call-backs.
Chopper does look like a teenager… And yet he’s still adorable! X3

I love Guard Point, cute! Walk Point can look cute, AND badass!
Hody Jones once again proves how much of a bastard he can be. Threatening to kill Surume’s family, what a jerk. This also makes me want to see Surume join even more, but it also makes me think he won’t join, and instead he’ll just return to his family.
Luffy and brothers… Yeah…
lol, Hody IS the worst villain ever! He may be a horrible evil jackass, but he’s got no clue just how weak he is compared to those in the above world… OR Luffy, for that matter!

I like the reason why that comedian isn’t going for One Piece jokes. He can’t say where certain characters are now, because they keep popping up in the most unexpected places! Like he says, the story is “perfectly crafted” by the author. Bravo.
Oda makes a lot of references to Japanese celebrities… Not to mention uses a lot of Japanese jokes that don’t translate well to English.
