what i want a new crew member to be is a marine defect, that what i see comming from some arcs to come. the first person that come to mind is smoker (because on alabasta arc he let them go and questioned justice for a moment but idk) i really want to see smokers past, i might send a email about that so you can talk about it. it intreages me but im my mind i can see him mabey joining near the end.
That would be a lot more interesting than the two fan-favorites: Jimbei and Hancock. Bleh.
I agree with retrace with the next crew member being a marine defect. Smoker though? Eh, maybe but I don’t think so. Although if you put Smoker in mind, you have to include Aokiji but the two of them are still way too overpowered and/or pro-marine for this to work. I’m guessing if we get a marine defect, he won’t even be introduced until the New World.
I think Perona needs to join because she’s got no skills outside of being pampered in a sheltered environment. Girl needs to grow up and what better way than to send her off into the most hostile waters in the world.
